Time to Begin Again –
Experienced and Wiser
The book Divine Or Demoniac? is our indictment of ISKCON’s leadership, presenting so much evidence how they have
undermined Srila Prabhupada’s mission.
The Conclusion: Start the Hare Krishna Movement Again!

Together in Principle
United in Purpose
Lord Chaitanya’s mission is simple – to spread the holy names around
yare dekhe tare kahe,—‘kaha krsna-nama’
Lord Chaitanya advised whomever he met to
chant the holy names Hare Krishna
Despite so many apparent differences this one purpose can be
pursued by every devotee – go out and ask people to chant the Mahamantra. Invite them to your home and read from KRSNA Book,
have a kirtan, feed them Bhagavat prasadam, and encourage
them to chant
japa, and read Srila Prabhupada’s books. It’s that simple.

Here’s more about non-institutional organization
– Holocracy
Can spiritual groups actually function using non-institutional organization?
How about large companies?
How about VERY large companies?
The answer is YES to every question.
The global VISA credit card system was developed non-institutionally
Zappos clothing company thrives very well non-institutionally
Zappos uses a system of rules for employee interaction called Holocracy
In his engaging talk, Brian Robertson explains Holacracy, a complete system for structuring a company without a management hierarchy, yet with clear accountability, authority and agility. Brian Robertson is an experienced entrepreneur, CEO and the creator of Holacracy, a management system for governing and running organizations without a typical management hierarchy. A variety of global leaders have implemented Holacracy, including Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh, Twitter Co-Founder Ev Williams, and the best-selling author of Getting Things Done, David Allen. Brian is the author of the upcoming book, Holacracy: The New Management System for a Rapidly Changing World.
Dee Hock – The Creation
of Chaordic System
Dee Hock has always had a disdain for the standard way of doing things. He felt that it imposed too many limits on people and didn’t allow the people doing the work to make decisions necessary to do the work. To him the hierarchical model of management was like adults babysitting children – except that employees were not children. But put into such an atmosphere they learned to act the part.
The story of the creation of VISA is included here because Dee’s Charodic method of management is almost identical to Srila Prabhupada’s methods. In the book Divine Or Demoniac? I introduced Hock and his Chaordic concepts. Here is the more complete story. If you want to get an idea of how a non-institutional organization can operate effectively, read this.

Srila Bhaktivinoda’s Nama Hatta
Srila Bhaktivinoda encouraged small local gatherings for hearing and chanting. Bhakti Raghava Swami spearheaded this concept for ISKCON in India and established more than 1,000 nama hatta groups in just a few short years.
This same concept was also used by Christian missionaries, who called it the “Cell Church,” and it was also very effective for them. We also encourage the Nama Hatta (or Bhakti Vriksha program as it is now called in ISKCON).
Although temples are wonderful to have, they are not needed to Start the Hare Krishna Movement Again. We suggest that cell church model be used, and that the object of the gatherings be to train members in spiritual knowledge and understanding – not for empire building which often becomes counterproductive for individual spiritual as explained in detail in the book Divine Or Demoniac?
Please read the blog post for an introduction to cell churches and bring any discussion to our Facebook page.
