Glorification for “Divine Or Demoniac?”
Hare Krishna Maharaja,
I can’t begin to thank you enough for your glorious service to the movement of Srila Prabhupada by this book: “Divine or Demoniac”.
I started of my KC with the Ritviks 20 years ago in Bangalore, you must credit them with the Prabhupada consciousness that they inculcate in newcomers. For myself, i fell in love with Srila Prabhupada, the day i held BG As It Is, thankfully it was a Macmillan 1972 edition and i decided to dedicate my life to ISKCON, but, Krishna inspired me to leave the Ritviks and come to the mainstream ISKCON in 2012, where i began again, getting initiated and continuing my service in an area no devotee wants to do: Gurukula, to cut a long story short, i went to Mayapur Gurukula and served under BVPS, whom i though was a pure devotee and from whom I took Siksa. After the Covid struck, I went to Vrindavan to care for my 81 year young mother.
All the while i was feeling very discontented and disillusioned with the direction ISKCON was going. So, during this time i came across your wonderful podcast with Narada Prabhu and what struck me the most was that after giving your whole life to ISKCON and Paramatma reminding you constantly to write your book and once you finished, your life in ISKCON was also finished, but what was amazing was that you were joyful full of compassion and no lamentation whatsoever. I bought your book and I couldn’t put it down. In fact, I went to the ISKCON section and devoured it, and for the first time I got complete satisfaction! All of my questions were answered! Then I went to the beginning which I am now devouring with a ferocious appetite.
Hats off to you Maharaja, I am completely with you in spirit, and anyway I can help you – any insignificant way – please let me know. You are a Siksa Guru for me for you did open my eyes with the torchlight of knowledge on an area which very few choose to see. I am trained in doing Yajnas and everyday I am doing the yajna in your name for your long and fulfilling life, as you have a very important role to play in the future.
Thank you and looking forward to your wonderful association in the future.
Dandavat Pranam,
Arjuna Krishna Das
